September 2010 Monthly Horoscope Forecast

This month, the brightest star in the zodiac will highlight family or property matters, Gemini. The sun continues its transit of your 4th house of home, family, and property until Sept. 22. If your family doesn’t play an important role in the weeks ahead, your partner’s family might. Some Gemini’s may have had these experiences in August, while others will be influenced now.
The new moon Sept. 8 brings two weeks of new energy to your domestic sector. If your birthday falls within 5 days of June 7, this new moon may support your efforts more than others. Property or your domestic situation may need attention this month. You may be ready to begin a home project or you may be time to get estimates for repairs. Mercury is retrograde so this might be a reoccurring problem. Mercury retrograde could cause misunderstandings with family members or with someone working in your home.
You could take a quick trip in September. Perhaps you are taking a family vacation, visiting a sibling, or attending a local event. Alternatively, a relative may be visiting you.
Mercury retrogrades August 20—Sept. 12. Mercury slows its orbit during this phase so you may notice some confusion. This Mercury retrograde makes no stressful aspects to planets in your solar chart which may be favorable for you. That being said, you could experience some aggravation during this time.
Mercury governs transportation, communication, and all things related to the transfer of information. You can expect these areas to be influenced during Mercury’s retrograde. News becomes confusing, transportation may be delayed or complicated, and ideas are asked to be reconsidered. Make yourself clear, read the fine print and do what you can to avoid miscommunication. Items are often lost during this time, so keep your eye on your valuables and important documents. I’ve lost a credit card during Mercury retrograde and my car keys during another retrograde! This is not a time to make important or expensive purchases. You may not use them or they may be flawed. The store shelves may be full of “not so great deals” now. Computers, phones, mail, fax machines, transportation and/or appliances may be annoying or fail to perform properly.
The weeks of Mercury retrograde might cause delays or obstacles, but it’s the best time for increasing your knowledge and bringing important details to your attention, which could be problematic at a later date.
This is not a time to sign papers or make verbal agreements, unless this is something you’ve already had in the works. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, re-write, re-organize, review, re-do, renew, research and re-evaluate. Allow a few days after Mercury turns direct before you proceed with any new ideas, major purchases, contracts or important decisions.
Venus transits your 5th house until Sept. 8. The sun enters this light-hearted area of your chart on Sept. 22. Your daily life changes as you focus on creative endeavors, children, entertainment, hobbies, the arts, and romance. There may more reasons to celebrate now. You may not want to deny yourself a good time, nor should you. This transit will stimulate your desire to express yourself creatively. You might benefit financially through education, writing, publishing, foreign relations, a long distance family member or a legal settlement. Enjoy the beauty of relating and laugh!
On Sept. 8, Venus glides into your 6th house of health, chores, and routines. Mars will enter this sector on September 14. This transit should be helpful for overall health although you may have more cravings for rich or sweet foods. Venus may improve relationships with employers, health care providers, and clients. This transit may stimulate your desire to improve your appearance by buying new clothes or trying a new hairstyle. Don’t spend your money on expense items while Mercury is retrograde because you may not like them later in the month. Venus in the 6th house could result in an office romance! Venus will retrograde on October. As a result she will spend the rest of the year in your 6th house, although while retrograde she will be in a weak position.
Pluto moves forward in your 8th house Sept. 13—April 2011. If your birthday falls before May 27, you will be feeling Pluto’s transformative energy in the months ahead.
If your birthday falls after May 27, you will be influenced most beginning Jan. 2011. However, that’s not to say you won’t be experiencing this heavy hitter planet now or in the coming months. You may have planets in the other cardinal signs of your chart that will receive Pluto’s energy. The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. All of these signs are known as self-starters of the zodiac.
Pluto is at home in here because Pluto governs the natural 8th house in the zodiac. This transit may result in profound experiences that transform your life. If your birth chart supports receiving an inheritance, you may be the recipient of one during this trend. Your life could change due to divorce, shared resources, taxes, or insurance settlements. You may become interested in the occult, reincarnation, or near death experiences. Your psychic ability may be greatly improved. You could experience a loss of someone that deeply affects you. This is a sixteen year transit, Gemini. A transit that lasts this long could result in losing someone. Your own health is not in any danger during, but you may have great strength and recuperative powers.
The full moon Sept. 23 falls in your 11th house of friends and groups. If your birthday falls within 5 days of May 22, you will be influenced most. This full moon might influence a dating relationship. If your romantic relationship has been difficult, it could end. The full moon might point to a weak link that needs to be addressed in a strong relationship. Some Gemini’s may experience this full moon in regards to a child. It’s possible that money is an issue. This could be for schooling or transportation. Alternatively, this full moon could point to a child leaving home because of their career. You may be the Gemini that receives a call from a friend or extended family member. Perhaps this person has something difficult to work through and they call on you for support. Or the full moon could point to the completion of a writing assignment, an important test, a competition, or a competitive sporting event.
