Extended Horoscope
Continuing Trends:
From October 11th through March 9th, Saturn and Pluto clash. This is that same battle that the sun and Mercury triggered. This time, it is bigger, uglier, and far more important. Saturn is moving into your daily work sector. From this new location, he will be trying to teach you some life lessons about how you work, what kind of work you do, how organized and self-disciplined you are, and also how you treat your body and coworkers. Pluto is trying to add personal power, enlightenment, profits, and sex appeal to cultural, political, religious, academic, and “global” activities. With these two titans clashing, you could find your career is suffering from legal, academic, travel, political, and/or cultural issues. Long-distance communications, international marketing, foreigners, business travel, and/or legal dramas can make it very difficult for you and your coworkers to accomplish much over the next few months.
From October 24th through November 4th, the sun and Mars are clashing. Mars is in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, safety and security, and “coming home” sector. The sun is still in your partners and competitors sector. Your parents or roommates could be angry with your spouse, best friend, business partner, or competitor. It is also possible that a spouse is ticked off about household chores, rude houseguests, or a landscaping, interior decorating, remodeling, and/or home-improvement project. A best friend or business partner could be upset because they think you are spending too much time focused on your home life. An enemy or competitor could be trying to sabotage your peaceful sanctuary.
From October 29th through April 8th, Saturn leaves Virgo and your fifth house to enter Libra and your sixth house. He will backtrack and revisit Virgo and your eleventh house from April 8th through July 20th. After that, he will stay in Libra and your sixth house for the next couple of years. For Taurus, hosting Saturn in your sixth house of daily work, to-do lists, productivity, physical health, and “feeling useful” can be quite stressful. Taurus is a hardworking zodiac sign that takes their responsibilities seriously. It can be hard on a Taurus to NOT be well organized, productive, healthy, and/or able to get along with coworkers. You could find that Saturn challenges your health, making it difficult for you to do your fair share of the work. You could find that a boss or authority figure constantly nags that your work and efforts are not good enough. No matter how hard you work, they do not appreciate your hard work and sacrifice. You could have trouble finding work, especially in this current economy, or you could be under-employed, or you are stuck in a job you hate because it is too risky to quit. It can be difficult to find a better job than the one you have. Remember that Saturn’s goal is to toughen you up, smarten you up, and prepare you for greatness. So, buckle down, do your job as best you can, and take care of yourself physically. When Saturn leaves this area of your life, your career and body should be in a stronger position than when you started. Since Libra rules your sixth house, you could find that business partnerships are especially vulnerable to Saturn’s “teaching moments.”
From October 31st through November 5th, Venus begins working with Neptune. Together, these two like to create romance, love, compassion, charities, and the fine arts. They are dreamy, sexy, and into a spiritual mystical kind of romance. Financially, they create a generous, intuitive, and/or philanthropic approach to wealth. They are currently blending your work sector and your success sector. This is more of that lovely energy promoting your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, professional reputation, and sense of achievement. Those of you working in creative, artistic, charitable, and/or humanitarian industries could find this is an especially helpful energy for you to work with.
New Developments:
November 2nd hosts a full moon in your “me” sector. Full moons are for endings, closure, and grand finales. This one is harshly affected by Mars in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, and “coming home” sector. Mercury is teaming up with the sun in your partnerships sector. The battle between your “partner” and your “home” is a big part of this ending in your life. You could find that you personally are somehow contributing to the problem and that you are ready to stop whatever it is that you are doing to sabotage your private life. Maybe you are leaving the house in a mess and your partner is tired of cleaning up after you. Maybe it is the other way around and your partner is tired of you constantly nagging at them to get more done around the house. Whatever the issue is between the two of you, you are able to walk a mile in your partner’s shoes and realize that there are things you are doing that needs to stop. The cause for the ending is negative and dramatic, but the long-term effect of you finding closure, completing a major task, and/or ending a negative personality trait will be in your best interest. (Later this month, you and your partner will get to make a fresh start; so do not be too depressed over having to make some concessions now.)
From November 7th through the 10th, Venus takes her turn working with Pluto to bring cultural, academic, religious, political, mass media, and/or travel-related opportunities into your romantic, social, and business partnerships. Pluto and Venus rule over all forms of seduction and wealth. Together, they can help you and a business partner to create lucrative legal contracts, to work on international marketing campaigns, and/or to successfully work with people in the travel, religious, political, legal, cultural, academic, and/or mass media industries. This is also an excellent time for meeting exotic new lovers or best friends. And for you and an existing lover or best friend to enjoy cultural, religious, academic, political, philosophical, and/or media events together. The two of you could also find vacationing and traveling together is quite enjoyable. This is also a great time for winning legal battles, mediating financial contracts together, and/or for building trust with partners from backgrounds quite different from your own. Anything combining your “global awareness” and “partnership” sectors together is going to be blessed with financial, seductive, and/or persuasive outcomes.
From November 7th through the 13th, the sun is in your partnerships sector and is clashing with Jupiter in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and success sector. Your lover, best friend, or business partner could be upset with your boss, the professional path you are on, your focus or lack of focus on your reputation, and/or the way you present your partnership to the rest of the world. It is also possible that leadership roles, marketing and advertising campaigns, or your attempts climb the Ladder of Success are making it difficult for you to spend enough time and energy on your partnership. Until the 9th, Mercury will be adding an argumentative energy to this problem.
From November 9th through the 13th, Mercury and Uranus are working quite nicely together. These are the two planets in charge of genius, intellect, independence, and spontaneity. They are combining your partnerships sector with your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, connectivity, group activities, and Internet sector together in a smart, fun, and charming way. This is an excellent time for romantic, social, and professional networking projects. Romantic couples could enjoy socializing together, best friends can have fun joining teams and clubs, and/or business partners could find this is an excellent time for selling to various teams, clubs, and professional associations. This is also a great time for the two of you to use the Internet as a tool to help you stay in touch with each other and/or to connect with other like-minded couples and groups. Those of you that working Internet industries could find this to be an awesome time for joint ventures. If you are single and looking for a romantic, social, or business partner, this is a good time to ask friends and colleagues to introduce you to interesting new people. The Internet can be a very helpful tool when hunting for potential partners. The sun, Venus, and eventually Mars still have to pass through here, so you will have more of this powerful energy in the future. With Mercury, you can begin the planning, negotiations, and goal setting portion of any networking, social, and/or team-related goals you might have.
From November 10th through the 13th, Mercury begins battling Neptune the same way he just did with Jupiter. Once again, your boss, professional goals and aspirations, leadership roles, public life, and/or attempts to climb the Ladder of Success is clashing with your romantic, social, or professional partnerships. When Mercury and Neptune battle, we often find lies, deceit, gullibility, negative self-talk, escapism, and/or hidden agendas are a key factor in the drama that unfolds. This is not a good time for any types of business negotiations or for the two of you to make any professional commitments. Things are not as they seem. You should also beware of competitors, enemies, or rivals lying to smear your good name.
From November 11th through the 18th, the sun begins working with Uranus the same way Mercury did. This prolongs your ability to blend “networking” and “partnerships” energies in a smart, positive, charming, and energizing way.
From November 13th through the 18th, the sun battles with Neptune the way that Mercury just did. A partner is still upset about your professional goals, leadership roles, public reputation, or ability to succeed. Bosses, rivals, and competitors are still troublesome.
November 16th hosts a new moon in your marriage, best friend, business partner, and competitor (think yin-yang) sector. This is a great time for you and a partner to launch a new project together. It is also a good time for meeting new partners, making partnership-related commitments, and for pre-existing partners to agree to a fresh start. Neptune is still clashing with the sun and causing professional goals, publicity, or reputation issues to shadow this fresh start in your partnerships sector. However, Uranus is still working wonderfully with the sun and encouraging you to blend your social networking sector with your partnership sector in fun, charming, and lucrative ways. It is a good day to recommit to each other, but not the best day to get married. (Friends, teammates, and colleagues could be quite helpful with a situation involving a new professional competitor, enemy, or rival.)
From November 16th through the 18th, Mercury is working with Saturn. Saturn and Pluto are in a major battle causing your long-distance travel, politics, and cultural sector and your daily work sector to clash. A few weeks ago, Mercury was working with Pluto trying to help you with romantic, professional, and social partnerships. Now, Mercury is trying to inspire Saturn. Mercury is in your trust and sharing sector. This is a great time for earning more commissions, getting a bonus check, negotiating for better health insurance, and/or for profit sharing activities to pay off quite nicely. Long-term professional finances are helped by this energy.
From November 16th through the 22nd, Venus and Mars are not getting along. These are the cosmic lovers of the universe, so when they fight it can be like an old married couple. Mars is still in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, and “coming home” sector and Venus is in your marriage and partnerships sector. Once again, you could be dealing with a lover, best friend, or business partner that is upset about how much time you spend focused on your parents, roommates, or something in your home life. Your spouse could be ticked off about chores, houseguests, home improvement projects, landscaping, real estate deals, etc. A competitor or rival could be trying to mess with your domestic life. Most of the time though, this shows up as a ticked off spouse grumbling about chores, household to-do lists, and yard work.
From November 21st through the 26th, Venus and Jupiter are recreating the professional issues between you and a lover, best friend, business partner, or rival. They are not happy with your boss, your reputation, or the professional path you are on. Luckily, this is the last planet to pass through here, so this battle is almost over.
From November 23rd through the 26th, the sun and Saturn get along quite nicely. Like Mercury a few days ago, the sun is helping to make sure that your financial and professional goals are easier to achieve. Commissions, royalties, stock options, health insurance, paid vacation, etc is the focus rather than wages and salaries.
From November 23rd through the 28th, Venus and Uranus work together to create more of that delightful energy blending your “social networking” and “partnership” sectors together. Once again, this could be a great time for the two of you to be socializing and networking together. It is also a good time for asking friends, teammates, and colleagues to introduce you to interesting new people that could become potential romantic, social, or business partners. Uranus is the planet in charge of the Internet in the Internet sector. Venus is the planet in charge of wealth in the partnerships sector. Together, they could help business partners working in Internet focused industries to be surprisingly profitable. If you are not currently operating a website, the two of you can still utilize the Internet as a powerful business networking tool.
From November 23rd through the 29th, Mercury and Mars are getting along wonderfully. Mars is working hard to boost your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, and “coming home” sector and Mercury is bringing intellect, communications skills, and fresh ideas into your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint finances, joint ventures, and profit sharing sector. Together, they can help you work on retirement plans, property taxes, mortgages, joint household budgets, home-based businesses, and/or estate planning. They can also help the two of you create some sexy date nights spent in the privacy of your own home.
From November 25th through the 29th, Venus battles Neptune. Once again, your career, boss, and/or public reputation is upsetting your lover, best friend, business partner, and/or competitor. With Neptune involved, you could find that lies, deceit, manipulation, and/or secret agendas could be the cause of this latest round of drama. Luckily, this is the last planet to pass through here so this reoccurring problem should finally work itself out.
From November 27th through December 17th, Mars opposes Jupiter. Last summer, Mercury, the sun, and Venus passed through here and created an ugly opposition between your “home” sector and your “success” sector. Mars is just now getting ready to catch up and will re-trigger various events that you have already dealt with in the past. First, he opposes Jupiter (and then Neptune). This creates a private life versus public life, mother versus father, career versus family, and/or retirement versus job promotion battle. Your career and public life is full of all kinds of excitement, but things at home are demanding your attention. This tug-of-war is usually hardest on working mothers, but can be tough on everyone involved. It is also possible that something in your private life is causing you to come across as unprofessional at work. Since it is the holiday season, you could simply be struggling with the normal stresses of preparing for family gatherings and keeping up with your career.
From November 28th through the 30th, Mercury begins working with Jupiter. Mercury and Mars are already getting along blending your trust and sharing (sex and money) sector and your “home” sector together in a smart, profitable, and sexy manner. Now, Mercury is also working with Jupiter in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and success sector to add more compromise, negotiations, and intelligence to your financial and professional activities. With Mercury’s help between the two opposing forces (work versus home), you are able to negotiate with both sides. You could be earning overtime, bigger commissions, and/or bonus checks that help to ease the stress at home. Or your spouse could be earning extra so that you can feel less guilty about taking some time off work to focus on home and family. It is also possible that your spouse is able to help you to focus, get organized, and mediate between the two opposing forces.
From November 30th through December 2nd, Mercury moves on to work with Neptune. This is your success sector blending nicely with your profit sharing sector. With Jupiter, it was about an abundance of professional opportunities and/or financial compensation, but with Neptune, the focus changes to more of a compassionate and intuitive energy. This is a lovely time for earning your boss’s trust, negotiating for fair commissions, insurances, paid vacation time, and other forms of profit sharing. You should be able to have an honest heart-to-heart conversation with your boss and get him or her to see things from your point of view.

October 2009 Horoscope
Your monthly horoscope follows this main text for all signs.
For the last two and a half years we have all been asked to adapt to new situations in some area of our lives as Saturn transited Virgo. This transit began in Sept. 2007. We have all had to establish more order; schedules have been influenced, along with employment and/or health care issues that have been in the spotlight for many. Serving something or someone other than ourselves meant we had to remain flexible in the face of change. Adjusting to new circumstances may have been challenging, worrisome, or burdensome as Saturn tested our strengths and weaknesses.
This month will set the stage for a new trend which we will all experience at some level. On Oct. 29, 2009, Saturn, the “Taskmaster”, the planet of old age (Father Time), hard work, and determined effort will enter Libra for the first time since Sept. 1980—Aug. 1983. Think back, if you’re old enough, to what significant events happened in your life during those years because similar themes may develop during this transit.
Saturn will retrograde at 4° Libra on Jan. 13, 2010, and re-enter Virgo in April 2010. During the retrograde phase, Saturn will remind you of the commitments and decisions you are making right now. Saturn will station direct at 28° Virgo May 30, 2010, finishing up its final trek through Virgo on July 21of next year and will not re-enter Virgo again until 2036. From October through January 2010 we will get a hint of what this Saturn in Libra transit will be like, especially for those that have planets 0-5 degrees in their charts.
The Cardinal signs, or people with planets 0-5 degrees in Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, will experience Saturn almost immediately. In addition, the Cancer/Capricorn eclipse in December and the eclipses next year will influence these signs so there are sure to be dramatic changes for the Cardinal signs and for those with planets within them.
Saturn’s transit through Libra until Oct. 2012 will give each of us enough time to grow from this planets influence. Saturn is exalted in Libra, meaning Saturn holds Libra in high regard and works well in this sign. Libra is a relationship sign; a sign concerned with equality, fairness, justice, and beauty. Creating balance in our relationships will be of fundamental importance, as will how we relate to others. We will learn to compromise, weigh both sides of the coin, and treat others as we want to be treated.
There will be challenges on the way where we are held responsible for our actions, or we will weed out what doesn’t promote progress in our lives and in our relationships. All relationships will be influenced, from marriage and family, those who you do business with on a daily basis, and to those that oppose you. Relationships are our reflections—what we give out, we receive in return. Saturn will remind you of that fact. Saturn will ask you to accept certain boundaries and when you do this graciously, you will be compensated. Saturn always leaves you a gift after it leaves a sign. Usually that gift is one of strength and stability because Saturn’s job always builds a firm foundation in the area it is transiting. Sometimes the reward hits you like a revelation when you look back on the last 2 ˝ years because Saturn’s lessons are always slow, and always deliberate.
Taurus,
This month you put your energy into employment matters, your daily routines or chores, and health care as the sun transits your 6th house.
As October begins you still have your ruler (Venus) and Mercury, your communications planet, transiting your 5th house of creative expression, children, pleasure, and romance. These personal planets team up with Saturn, adding a stabilizing but more serious undertone to romance and anything you do to have a good time. Take home a movie, go to a concert, or visit an art gallery, because this is as good as it gets. Soon planets will change signs and you’ll have to wait a long time for another month like this one. You can remain practical and still enjoy yourself. Also, don’t postpone important talks with your kids.
Mars continues to transit your 3rd house of transportation, ideas, agreements, and siblings. This transit may stimulate the desire to learn something new or it could make you a powerful force in your daily life because of the need to express yourself. Just be careful; sometimes this transit can result in intimidating others. Transportation issues could arise, so watch the speed limit and other drivers. This is a good transit to help a neighbor or a sibling with a project, but the same energy could cause conflicts or stress.
Full moon in Aries on Oct. 4 falls in your 12th house of confinement, rest, secrets, and closure. Taurus born within 5 days of May 2 will feel this full moon most. The sun will illuminate health or employment, so issues could culminate around work or a hospitalization matter. This full moon can lower your resistance and cause you to feel run down, so be sure and take extra care in protecting yourself from illness. The full moon may bring closure to an employment matter. Mars, ruling this full moon, is harmoniously aligned to Uranus which could bring news out of the blue. The full moons influence may concern you, a family member, or a pet that requires attention.
Mercury enters your 6th house on Oct. 9/10 (depending on your location) and Venus follows Oct. 14th. If you’re looking for work, these planets may help with interviews and bring favor from employers. This would be a good transit to think about dropping a bad habit, to change your health regime, or talk to your doctor if you have a pressing health concern.
Mars enters your 4th house of home, family, and property on Oct. 16 for an unusually long transit. Mars will transit Leo until June 6, 2010—almost 8 months! This transit will result in a lot of activity in your home or surrounding your family, and could present some challenges. Mars rules your 12th house of confinement and psychological issues, so it could be that someone at home is ill and you may be a caregiver or required to shoulder more responsibilities. Mars at the bottom of your chart can cause emotional upsets, excessive worrying, or stomach problems. Mars can also cause conflicts between family members, so be careful with your words.
This is also the area that governs your roots and the foundations of your life. You may be working hard to stabilize your family, to secure your home environment, or your relationship with family members. This is also a time that you may work hard in the home, cleaning, organizing, and getting your home in top shape. Just be careful that your desire to have your home the way you want it doesn’t make you pushy and aggressive towards those you love.
The new moon Oct. 18 falls in your 6th house of work, chores, and health. Taurus born within 5 days of May 16 will notice this new moon most. New moons bring new opportunities and fresh starts within two weeks, although the first week is more potent. This may be the time you get organized, clean out some clutter, or hire someone to help you. This new moon may find you with a new work assignment or you may start a new schedule that helps you live a more productive lifestyle. If you are unemployed, this could be the fresh start you’ve been waiting for. If you need to find work, send your resume out this month and make some call-backs.
This is also your new moon to start a new health regime, get a check-up, or find a doctor. If you want to start a diet, begin your exercise routine, push back from the table, and cut back on calories after November’s full moon, but eat a balanced diet and be sure and take vitamins. The two weeks leading up to the next full moon will give you a running start, but appetites increase as the moon grows fuller so drastic changes aren’t recommended. This would also be a good time to try a new hairstyle or upgrade your style in some fashion.
Other areas of life that may begin anew are your daily schedules which may be changing. You could get a pet or your pet may be starting a new phase. Health care or health insurance, workman’s compensation, or employment benefits could begin now.
The sun enters your 7th house Oct. 23 and Mercury follows Oct. 28. This transit will turn your attention to committed relationships, business contracts, and may heighten career activity for yourself or your significant other.
Saturn enters Libra, your 6th house of work and health Oct. 29. This transit may be stressful as it will focus on weaknesses in your health or work environment. Saturn in the 6th house usually represents hard work and additional responsibilities for little reward or appreciation. Ask anyone with Saturn in the sixth house and they will tell you that they often have to do the work of two people and no one recognizes them for their efforts. Sometimes they feel as though they are taken advantage of by employers or co-workers. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen to you, but you’ll probably be asked to prove yourself through all of your efforts. Regarding your health, Saturn can deplete calcium so it would be beneficial for you to take a supplement to prevent bone loss. It doesn’t matter what your age, as Saturn can cause problems with your knees at any time, or cause other chronic health problems. If your rising sign is Libra, this is important for you as well. You won’t be able to cut corners, so if you have a bad habit, you’ll need to address it under this transit.
Enjoy your month!
September 2009 Monthly Horoscope
You are about to experience a radical shift in your romance and entertainment sector—your solar 5th house. Now is your chance to focus on your romantic life, feel more joy, and express yourself. If you’re single, it’s time to look around because you never know who might be looking at you! If you are in a difficult relationship, this month you decide what you need to be happy.
September may be vacation time for some, while other Taureans will actively pursue artistic endeavors, the theater, social engagements, and other forms of leisure activities. If you have children or desire starting a family, current transits may result in greater emphasis on your child or there may be decisions regarding pregnancy.
The full moon Sept. 4 in your 11th house may challenge your role in a relationship with a friend or group. This person may be a female, a family member, or a group you are affiliated with. The possibility exists that something unfolds that you were unaware of. Alternatively, you may hear something about an extended family member, or a child of yours could receive a special honor. Taureans born within 5 days of May 3 will be influenced most.
Mercury will be retrograde Sept 6 – Sept 29. Mercury is the planet that governs transportation, communication, and all things related to the transfer of information. You should expect any of these areas to be influenced during Mercury’s retrograde. News becomes confusing, transportation is delayed or full of complications, and ideas or agreements are asked to be reconsidered. Items are often lost during this time, so keep your eye on important belongings and documents. I never found my credit card or car keys, items which I lost during two separate Mercury Retrograde periods. Be careful of what you spend your money on during any Mercury Rx phase because you may never use it or you might end up taking it back because it doesn’t work. The store shelves and car lots are full of “not so great deals” during this phase. Anything that is communication or transportation related may cause you problems such as computers, phones, gossip, fax machines, vehicles, or shopping over the internet.
You can’t put your life on hold during Mercury Retrograde, but you should concentrate on the things that are going on in your life now. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, re-write, re-organize, review, research, reflect, and re-evaluate.
For Taurus, this Mercury retrograde will take you back over talks or decisions regarding a romantic relationship, children, a creative effort, or a leisure activity. Finances and/or miscommunication may cause you to feel blocked. The challenge lies in working through the details and looking at the glass as if half full. You’ll get further ahead by showing willingness to compromise. It’s time to think about what’s important for your success and happiness, not dwelling on recent disappointments. An ex girlfriend/boyfriend may be in touch.
Venus transits Leo, your 4th house, through Sept. 20. This transit may stimulate your desire to spruce up your surroundings and it may help to mend family relationships. However, there are some difficult aspects that may result in trying to balance home and career, or your desire to be in familiar surroundings may inhibit career progress. Alternatively, there could be conflicts within your family or regarding property matters. If you aren’t affected by the negative influences—expect more enjoyment at home.
Mars transits your 3rd house through Oct. 15. Mars is not compatible with a watery sign like Cancer. Mars in your 3rd house could cause conflicts in your relationships because you may speak abruptly without thinking. This transit can result in frequent short trips, transportation issues, or you may find it difficult to express yourself. On a positive note, this transit is excellent for study or learning something new because your determination is strong. Mars will enter a more compatible fire sign (Leo) on October 16.
Children, romantic love, entertainment, and creativity will be further highlighted following the new moon Sept. 18. Taurus’ born near May 17th will feel this new energy most. The new moon will open a two week window of opportunity to have more fun, if you can avoid taking life too seriously or any interference from friends or groups. The new moon may find you beginning a new creative endeavor, which seems to be something structured where you’ll have to learn to adapt to new methods. The weeks following the new moon may also highlight long distance travel, legal matters, publishing, and/or adult education.
September will be a memorable month for many signs, mostly because of unstable planetary patterns. The majority of heavy hitter aspects come into play around midmonth. Saturn will be nearing an exact opposition to Uranus which manifests Sept. 15. This aspect can result in sudden breaks or the need to break free of limiting circumstances.
Venus opposes Neptune on Sept. 15 which may result in having unrealistic expectations in a relationship. Someone may have a hidden agenda or there could be disappointments. No relationship should begin under this aspect if you want something lasting. Use this energy to help someone less fortunate or visit someone you know that needs cheering up.
On Sept. 17 the Sun will oppose Uranus, the planet of sudden unexpected events and breakthroughs. Accidents, irritability, tension, restlessness, impatience, and radical change are a few keywords you should know if you are influenced by this aspect. The sun opposes Uranus every year.
On the new moon Sept. 18, Mars, stationed at 15° Cancer, will trigger events related to the July 7 lunar eclipse at 15° Capricorn. Mars is used as a timer in astrology; I usually mention this at eclipse time and give you dates to expect eclipse activity to unfold. Mars has reached the exact degree of opposition to the July 7 eclipse, therefore some of you may be dealing with the results of that eclipse now.
Still active at the wake of the Sept. 18 new moon, these aspects remain volatile through Sept. 25 when the moon meets up with Pluto at a highly sensitive degree in Capricorn. The earliest born in the signs of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and Aries will be influenced most by this conjunction. Dependant on your birth chart, other signs may also experience intense emotional changes or the feeling of being completely overwhelmed. Home, family, and/or finances may demand your attention. Possessiveness, jealousy, and power struggles, sometimes due to emotional manipulations, can result.
That said, powerful planetary patterns as we have now are often the driving force behind major breakthroughs. Lessons will be learned (some the hard way), progress will be made (through sheer will and determination) and barriers will be broken (with extra effort and hard work). At the end of the day you may be thanking the Universe for the aspects that propelled you through a month like September.
Venus, your ruler, enters your 5th house of love and pleasure on Sept. 20. September is undoubtedly a month where you won’t want to deny yourself a good time. Venus is a money sign, therefore during this transit you may spend liberally on life’s luxuries. There may be benefits coming to your children, or your romantic partner may be more generous, easier to please, and might seem more affectionate now. Investments may pay higher dividends and you could get lucky taking a financial risk.
That said, Sept 15-17, or within a few days of these dates, you may find yourself having to take responsibility for your role in an artistic creation, a romantic relationship, a risky investment, or regarding an issue surrounding a child. This may be your opportunity to break from a negative situation.
The Sun enters your 6th house Sept. 22. Now you will turn your attention to your daily routines, diet and health, and employment matters.
Have a wonderful and productive month!

Established in 1938, the American Federation of Astrologers is the oldest association in the United States which oversees accreditation of astrologers, sponsors scientific astrology research, and publishes more astrological books than anyone else in the United States. The AFA is a worldwide organization of more than 3,500 professional astrologers and astrological laypersons representing all 50 states and 56 countries around the globe.
Benefits of AFA Membership
* Today's Astrologer - A monthly publication featuring articles, research reports, and information about astrological organizations and activities.
* Special "New Member Discount"
* Referral to practicing and accredited astrologers.
* Educational resources for learning astrology.
* Accreditation examinations
* Convention discounts
As an astrologer and a member of the AFA, it is important to me that the latest research, news, and course offerings continue to reach the public. If it were not for so many dedicated people working to keep astrology alive, it would fade away. Postage, advertising, and manpower require funding, which is made possible through membership.
Please visit the AFA website and when you sign up, let them know that you are a friend from Horoscopes Within. You can add a note in the FAX number box - this will let the AFA know how you found them. Horoscopes Within or myself will not receive any credit or benefits for your membership. I am merely one member reaching out to you through this website. Thank you for your consideration.
Best wishes, Cornelia Jones
