How about some romance and entertainment, Taurus? The sun continues its transit of your 5th house of love and leisure until Sept. 22. You may have already experienced some of this lively energy late last month, in August. The new moon on Sept. 8 brings two weeks of new energy to this pleasure center of your chart.
You may spend more time entertaining or you might be interested in the theater, parks, art galleries, or concerts. Play a game, be a kid again—laugh! This month’s stars support artists, writers, or designers. This is also an important time for hobbies, athletics, investments, or competitions. Explore your creative potential and share your talents.
If you’re single, this month could open the door to a new romance. It may be easier for you to express yourself in an existing relationship. Finances may be an important theme for you or within a romantic relationship. You might have the tendency to flatter people now for the sake of having fun. Be careful, you wouldn’t want to give someone the wrong impression! Mercury is retrograde so you’ll want to avoid possible misunderstandings in your love life!
If you have children, you may be busy with their activities, or your children may need more time and attention now. An old issue regarding a child may surface. This could be related to health, income, or scheduling. The subject of children or pregnancy may be significant for you in September.
Mercury is retrograde in your 5th house. This retrograde could bring an old love back from the past or you may be thinking of this person. This is an important time for you to think about how you express yourself and take the necessary steps to improve on those skills. Use caution in new endeavors because this is not a time to take risks.
Mercury retrogrades August 20—Sept. 12. Mercury slows its orbit during this phase so you may notice some confusion. This Mercury retrograde makes no stressful aspects to planets in your solar chart which may be favorable for you. That being said, you could experience some aggravation during this time.
Mercury governs transportation, communication, and all things related to the transfer of information. You can expect these areas to be influenced during Mercury’s retrograde. News becomes confusing, transportation may be delayed or complicated, and ideas are asked to be reconsidered. Make yourself clear, read the fine print and do what you can to avoid miscommunication. Items are often lost during this time, so keep your eye on your valuables and important documents. I’ve lost a credit card during Mercury retrograde and my car keys during another retrograde! This is not a time to make important or expensive purchases. You may not use them or they may be flawed. The store shelves may be full of “not so great deals” now. Computers, phones, mail, fax machines, transportation and/or appliances may be annoying or fail to perform properly.
The weeks of Mercury retrograde might cause delays or obstacles, but it’s the best time for increasing your knowledge and bringing important details to your attention, which could be problematic at a later date.
This is not a time to sign papers or make verbal agreements, unless this is something you’ve already had in the works. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, re-write, re-organize, review, re-do, renew, research and re-evaluate. Allow a few days after Mercury turns direct before you proceed with any new ideas, major purchases, contracts or important decisions.
Venus transits your 6th house until Sept. 8. The sun will enter your 6th house on Sept. 22 for a month long stay. Work, daily chores, employees and/or any service you provide will be highlighted now. You may strive to become more organized and efficient. Relationships with employers, office personnel, and healthcare providers could be more satisfying. Issues surrounding child care, health, pets and daily schedules will keep you busy. This would be a good time to quit a negative habit.
On Sept. 8, Venus glides into your 7th of important relationships. Mars will enter this sector on September 14. This is one of the best transits for relationships, love affairs, and marriage. Existing problems can be resolved now. Partners may be generous and compromise should be easier. This is an excellent transit for talking to your partner as they are more willing to listen, but if you’re looking for a good debate, you’ll probably find it. Mars transiting this sector could arouse feelings of jealousy or control issues in a relationship. The best use of this energy is to work through difficulties together and don’t harbor any resentment. Get some hard work accomplished together and visit someone you know that needs cheering up.
This may be an important transit for shared resources, divorce issues, mortgages, taxes, partner’s income, and other credit or financial areas. If you need assistance, call a professional for advice. Alternatively, a partner may be having a surgical procedure or might be ill in late September or early October.
When Venus retrogrades in October she will be in a weak position. She will remain in your 7th house through the end of the year. Commitments and new relationships are not advised during Venus retrograde.
Pluto moves forward in your 9th house Sept. 13—April 2011. If your birthday falls before April 26, you will be feeling Pluto’s transformative energy in the months ahead.
If your birthday falls after April 26, you will be influenced most beginning Jan. 2011. However, that’s not to say you won’t be experiencing this heavy hitter planet now or in the coming months. You may have planets in the other cardinal signs of your chart that will receive Pluto’s energy. The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. All of these signs are known as self-starters of the zodiac.
Knowledge is power during this transit, Taurus. Your experiences will help to shape your beliefs during this new trend. You may strive to achieve your ambitions through education, long distance travel, foreign cultures, publishing or the legal system. Use good judgment because this transit could cause problems for you in these areas. Your religious or spiritual beliefs may be reshaped by an experience. This transit may improve your intuition or intensify your ability to understand patterns of transformation. You may have greater interest in the occult, mystical experiences, criminal law, or world religions. You may become involved with a group that works collectively to reshape society, such as changing legislation, healthcare reform, or medical research.
The full moon Sept. 23 falls in your 12th house of isolation, secrets, spirituality, and psychological health. If your birthday falls within 5 days of April 21 will be influenced most. This full moon falls in the last house of your solar chart and might suggest an ending to an employment issue or assignment. Something that was hidden may be revealed now. You may be caught off guard by developments or you might be more emotional now. The full moon joins Uranus (planet of surprise) and Jupiter (planet of expansion). The full moon could result in the end of a matter regarding a friendship, a group, or and extended family situation. Your schedule may be finalized at school. A legal case may be ending. The full moon could have some bearing on your career or reputation. Alternatively, it may pinpoint important developments for a sibling, relative, parent, or family situation.
